DETAILS
Tremella fuciformis is a species of fungus producing white, frond-like, gelatinous basidiocarps (fruit bodies). It is widespread, especially in the tropics, and is parasitic on other fungi (Hypoxylon species), that grow on dead attached and recently fallen branches of broadleaf trees.
