Among these, nervonic acid derived from Acer truncatum seed oil and rapeseed oil has been approved as a new resource food in China. After rigorous safety assessments, it can be legally used in food production, offering consumers more dietary options. At present, the scientific and industrial communities continue to explore more efficient and sustainable nervonic acid preparation technologies.

A Rational Perspective: Nutritional Support, Not a Drug Substitute
